Cold beer and good service.average Mexican food really good steaks

We were the only ones there on a Saturday around 5pm. Being the only customers, our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The food was good enough, not spectacular but not bad either.

Taco Tuesday is a winner as there is a choice of tacos, beef, pork, or fish. The meat was not just a traditional tax-mex spices, beef was teriyaki steak with slaw, avocado. Pork was spicy with Pico and avocado. Lime wedge for drizzle on plate. $1.50 a taco, chip & salsa starter for free.

Lovely place, the decor was really nice. I tried green Chile for the first time and boy were they hot. The service was great and the portions are huge.

Nice decour, staff is friendly. Sadly we ordered a guacamole appetizer and it was more lettuce than avocado. My son enjoyed his chicken fingers lunch.

This place had an excellent steak and all the Mexican food was fantastic especially the salsa and chips I definitely recommend this place

The food was not very good, at all. The service was great. Our waiter had a large table of probably twenty people but was still able to give us enough attention. The #7 we ordered ended up being a chunk of hamburger versus a solid peice of meat... The salsa is pretty tasteless but the chips were good. The chicken enchiladas were OK, but the red sauce was so hot it overwhelmed any taste. Too hot, even by New Mexico standards.

The restuarant is very nice. The food wasnt to my liking and was pricy for not liking it much. The staff was very friendly.

Our dining experience at La Cocina started off well, we were promptly seated, and served a small bowl of chips and salsa which were actually quite flavorful. But that was the end of a good impression left by La Cocina. We each ordered beverages in addition to water and the water wasn't brought out until almost the end of the meal even though our beverages were delivered promptly after we ordered them. The food was served in a good time and was a good temperature but it lacked flavor and was very unimpressive. If you want good Mexican food I suggest you try somewhere else.

Nice atmosphere. We just had drinks and an appetizer but it was good.

Slow service, steak had good flavor but was overcooked. This was the third time this spring we ate here, service has not improved. It appears they are very understaffed.

Good atmosphere, service was good; but the food was nothing special. For I place that has a huge sigh proclaiming "Hot stuff" it was surprisingly bland. No spice to anything and our food came out cold so on all levels, no hot stuff.

The food came out quickly and was delicious. Their beef hard tacos have great flavor and the chilie rellenos filling was so creamy, yummy. The service was prompt a d friendly. The margaritas where pretty tasty too.The price for two meals a d two drinks was ridiculously reasonable.We recommend.

Chips tasted like the oil they were fried in was bad, the rice was not good at all, the beans were burned and they still served them, and the enchiladas were ok, all in all not a good first time visit. Even after I asked for a little plate to remove the rice and beans from my plate and the server took them away knowing the problem absolutely nothing was done to rectify the issue, definitely won't be back.

Absolutely horrible service! Visited with my husband , 4 girls and grand baby. Waited 30 minutes before my husband had to stand up to let someone know we were ready to order. They tossed the table around before someone came by. Mind you, two other tables arrived after us and were tended to before us. Someone different took our order. Then...15 minute wait for straws! They never came. We literally up and started to walk out before they offered the straws. I won’t ever play the race card, but we WERE the ONLY Hispanics there. I will not EVER come back here. Oh...and those after us...getting their order as we left!!

Sat on outdoor patio. Very good peaceful dinner! Taco salad.... the best salsa around.

Food was bland. Nothing special. Waitress handed wife a hot plate not warning her of it and got burned. Food took a while to come out.

Meat tasted like rubber tires , cheese tasted plastic even the air was stale !! I don’t know what they did but I would rather eat food from a gas station that’s been ran over five time!

Went there on Sunday as a group of four. This was the worst service ever. Ordered steak with baked potato, vegetables, and salad. The waitress was rude, non friendly, and was totally non enthusiastic about her job. The restaurant was not busy. We received our food in a timely manner in this sequence.1. Main course ...no veggies or salad.2. 10 minutes later the veggies in a small bowl but very cold.3. After the meal was over here comes the salad as we were ready to leave.There was no apology or explanation offered.no attempt to communicate. Our meals were ok.NOT GREAT...our wives ordered Mexican and the were happy with the food. This waitress needs to get fired, go home and play video games the rest of her life or get a grip and do her job. I left her a tip in spite of her poor performance.

Place, people, service and the company was great.. Salsa could have a bite to it but everything was good.. We'll be back!!

We had lunch here while passing through. The restaurant is clean and cozy. The food wasn't amazing, but pretty tasty and worth the price. We had tacos and a chicken sandwich and I saw some tasty looking steaks on other tables. Service was polite quick and helpful.

Very good on friday night. Prime rib, yum.

Great food and family friendly

Very friendly staff and customers, great food, large portions, very reasonably priced. Just don't order a Margarita unless you've enjoyed one made with wine instead of tequila before. 😁👍

We stopped there for my Mothers birthday. Waited 30 minutes for water/drinks and then another 30 minutes for the waitress to ask for an order. Which she yell across the diner that she was busy and the place was full. Looking around 3 saw three other tables filled in the place. We departed after wasting more than a hour just to order. Very sad as my mother was 86 that day and has a hard time getting around. We had to pack up and go to another local Mexican Diner, at which we had a wonderful time.

Steak fajita was good. The tacos were fine. Don't get cheese enchilada; it is nothing but a small tortilla with half melted cheese. The rice and beans are tasteless.

Worst Mexican restaurant ever!!! I've literally had better food from a gas station cooler... Wouldn't feed this stuff to my dog.. Not to mention they messed up my order and took forever to serve our food.. Never again!!

"Enchiladas" were 2 tortillas stacked on top each other. No meat inside and two little pieces of cheese insideI've never had enchiladas like that in my entire life. The beans tasted like instant add water beans. Portions were small as well

Good food, decent service. Will go again. Mashed potatoes were cold, and outdoor fans are broken... But pretty good meal!

On the night that we went there, they seem to be short-staffed and somewhat overwhelmed. We can't blame them for that; that often happens in the best of restaurants. Food was good, but not great. The portions were quite generous. The margaritas were overly sweet and pretty weak.
